Fun fact, I am not a gifts person. I know this because I married one. And nothing will make you realize your own gift-giving shortcomings like marrying someone who is the absolute best at it. My husband honest-to-goodness keeps a running list of gift ideas on his phone for every person in our family. Me on the other hand? I can’t even remember to buy him a Valentine’s Day card (sorry babe).
Typically we balance each other out well and he keeps me afloat for gift giving, but one area where the ball still lands in my court is buying toddler-friend presents (aka: gifts for my friends who have kids). And even though this is my ONLY responsibility each Christmas, I still somehow forget to plan ahead.
If you’re like me and you need a cheat sheet on great local (*cough* last minute) gifts for kids, I’ve made a list of my favorites. So now you can put this on your phone and be like my husband (insert crying laughing face emoji here).

Junebug Learning Kits makes sensory bins, play kits, homemade play dough, and accessories. I love these mini dough jars. I think I’ll grab several to keep on hand for last-minute gift needs. Check out her shop HERE

Frosted Fox is known for her mouth-watering desserts. Her cake pints would make the perfect hostess gift for all those holiday parties. And don’t forget about teacher appreciation gifts (I mean who wouldn’t love a yummy cake pint after surviving the week before winter break?) Check out her website HERE

Anme Shoppe is owned by a local Columbia mom. She makes each necklace by hand and is constantly releasing new seasonal designs. She just launched a website for her jewelry. Check it out HERE.

Putting together some neighborhood kid presents? Fill them with custom crayons! Our favorites are the automobiles and dinosaurs. Each set comes adorably packaged in special gift boxes. Local pickup available. Check HERE for more info.

Kidsville Playground is the absolute BEST place to play. This holiday season they are offering a Savings Passport. For just $20 you get a total of four play passes, two chips, and two juices. They fit perfectly in stockings and gift baskets. This would make an amazing gift for any kid under 12 years old. Click HERE for more info.

Excuse the shameless self-promotion, but I really feel the Nashville Adventure Pack is the perfect holiday gift. With ideas for kids of all ages (or kids-at-heart), there’s something for everyone. PLUS it’s full of discounts & incentives. Even better? A portion of each sale benefits a local charity. Learn more HERE
