Sometimes I can get so overwhelmed with planning and managing all the gazillion tasks needed to make December run smoothly for my family, that I completely lose all joy for the holiday season. Is it just me? Does it happen to you, too? It can feel like I’m hemorrhaging money trying to *make* happy happen. In those moments, I try to remember that some of my absolute favorite holiday memories from my childhood were simply driving through neighborhoods looking at lights with my family. A free, quiet, simple activity done together.
Whether you’re in the mood for simple neighborhood lights or something more spectacular, I hope this collection of light displays from across the city can help you restore balance and find joy this holiday season.
